As I mentioned in my Weekend in Paradise post, I went to Shelton Vineyards in Yadkin Valley, North Carolina for the first time this past weekend. It’s owned by brothers Ed and Charlie Shelton and it’s apparently the largest family-owned estate winery in North Carolina.
We were blown away by the whole place, from the cozy albeit expensive on-site grill to the beautiful grounds to the vast inside winery to the welcoming service. Overall, it was a fun experience- it didn’t hurt that Larry knew everybody there
I was a huge fan of the Harvest White wine, so make to try that one if you ever visit.
P.S. Like my Flickr slideshow? I’m using the Slickr Flickr WordPress Plugin, which I’m loving so far. To see all of my pictures on Flickr, click here.

Very cool! If you haven’t been to Elkin Creek vineyard over there you should definitely go!
